My name is Argo Pace, and at 61 years of age, I bring a lifetime of experience, leadership, and dedication to everything I do. I started my career as a tool and die maker in a small job shop in Markham, Ontario. Through hard work, determination, and a commitment to continuous improvement, I advanced through many positions within the automotive industry, traveling the world to places such as Japan, Korea, France, Germany, India and many more, finally reaching my destination to Lakeshore 12 years ago. Over the years, I worked for several Tier 1 Automotive Companies, taking on increasing levels of responsibility and making significant business decisions that impacted company performance and growth. Eventually, I reached a leadership position where I reported directly to the CEO on continuous improvement initiatives. My career has taught me how to listen, analyze challenges, make thoughtful decisions, and lead teams toward common goals. I worked my way from the shop floor to the executive level, giving me a unique understanding of both the challenges workers face and the responsibilities of leadership. While I do not have a background in politics, I do have extensive experience leading people, solving problems, managing budgets, and making decisions that affect organizations and communities. I believe effective leadership is about honesty, accountability, transparency, and putting people first.
